Robert Boughter

Attorney Robert J. Boughter exclusively practices accident and injury law in the State of Indiana. He defends the rights of those impacted by negligence resulting in car accidents, trucking accidents, product liability claims, workers’ compensation, and other catastrophic injury or wrongful death cases. Robert Boughter earned his Juris Doctor from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law. In addition to receiving high honors with degrees in criminology and Spanish as an undergraduate, he studied abroad at the Universidad de Valladolid in Spain and the El Centro Bilingue in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico. He is fluent in both Spanish and English. As a successful Indiana injury attorney, he fights for his clients and has recovered millions of dollars on their behalf. In one particular case, he assisted in obtaining a 3 million dollar settlement for a seriously injured client who had been told by two other prominent personal injury law firms that there was nothing they could do for him. His keen insight stems from his rich career as a special agent investigating fraud for the Office of Inspector General and later as a litigator with an insurance defense firm in Northwestern Indiana. In both positions, he was highly successful, garnering a 100 percent conviction rate for the governmental fraud cases he investigated and, as an attorney on the other side of the docket, successfully defended Fortune 500 companies, insurance companies, trucking companies, at-fault drivers, municipalities, police officers, and other entities against a variety of tort claims.
