Richard Hein

Richard Hein is Principal & Managing Partner Attorney of Hein Law Firm (www.heinlegal.com), an International Commercial Immigration Law Firm in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. Mr. Hein is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Pre-Law Program at St. Louis University, taught law at the Universidad Centroamericana Law School in San Salvador, El Salvador, and has been an invited professor in International Relations at the Universidad Abierta Interamericana in Buenos Aires, Argentina and on Comparative Law Studies at the Universidad Blas Pascal in Córdoba, Argentina. Mr. Hein also studied law at the Centro de Estudios Universitarios at the Colegio de San Pablo, and served as a law clerk to one of the leading law firms in Europe, B. Cremades & Associates, both in Madrid, Spain. Mr. Hein previously chaired the appellate group for one of the largest law Firms in the St. Louis metropolitan area. He serves as a member of the Region X Disciplinary Committee under the authority of the Missouri Supreme Court Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel, is a Rule 17 Certified Mediator, and is licensed in the United States Supreme Court, the Eighth Circuit Federal Court of Appeals and the Missouri State Supreme Court. He is also a member of the Federal District Court of Eastern Missouri. The Missouri Supreme Court appointed Mr. Hein to its Committee for Language Access on which he has served since November, 2017 to develop and establish guidelines and measures to ensure fairness and equality under the law with respect to access to the Courts for those with limited or no English skills. Finally, he served as President of the Hispanic Bar Association of St. Louis from 2022 to 2023, and remains active on the Board of Directors. Finally, in 2025, Mr. Hein co-founded Punto Legal, the Spanish-language podcast, one of the few, if not the only, legal podcasts in Spanish in the US where we discuss legal topics of interest, as well as social, geopolitical, cultural, and other issues, using history as a foundation and tool for understanding and explaining current events, all in Spanish.
