Rebecca Britton

Rebecca Britton is a certified mediator in the Superior Courts of North Carolina. Now working solely as a Mediator and Arbitrator, she has more than 30 years of hands-on practice litigating and trying personal injury and wrongful death cases. She has significant experience representing plaintiffs in medical malpractice, auto torts, and other negligence based claims involving personal injury and wrongful death. This litigation, jury trial experience and insight are helpful to all parties, including their attorneys and carriers in assessing the costs and risks of trial. Rebecca was well known for the respect and care she offered clients and she has carried that over to the parties she works with in her ADR practice. She has earned numerous honors for her professional standing, service to her clients, her community and the State of North Carolina. She has also taught Advanced Trial Advocacy as an adjunct professor at Campbell University School of Law. Through the North Carolina Mock Trial Program and the NCAJ High School Mock Trial Program, high school students across North Carolina experience a challenging and fun competition that builds public speaking skills, confidence, analytical ability, teamwork, leadership and a sense of civic duty. Rebecca Britton has been involved with this program for over 30 years, from coaching a team to serving on the NC and National Boards for High School Mock Trial. She served as Vice President and President of NCMTP for several years and now serves as an emeritus board member.
