Raji Nielsen

With over 24 years of legal experience, Rajinder K. Rai-Nielsen is the Principal of her own law firm, where she and her team provide both litigation and mediation/alternative dispute resolution services. Rajinder has extensive experience as a civil litigator, as well as in the areas of appellate practice and administrative law. Raji is also a Board Member of the McGeorge Alumni Board of Directors, where she supports the alumni community and the law school's mission and vision along with being an active member and supporter of the McGeorge Rugby Club.Rajinder holds a Juris Doctorate with an Intellectual Property Certificate from the University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law, and is currently pursuing a Certificate of Judicial Development in Dispute Resolution from the National Judicial College. Prior to establishing her own law firm, Rajinder served as an Administrative Law Judge for the State of Nevada for over 10 years, adjudicating complex disputes arising from various state agencies, such as workers compensation, Medicaid, education, insurance, and mortgage lending. Rajinder has in-depth knowledge and understanding of state procurement, teacher licensing, personnel, state contracts, and workers' compensation matters, as well as strong comprehension and management of discovery, evidence, and motion practice. Rajinder is passionate about resolving conflicts, protecting rights, and promoting justice, and is committed to applying their expertise and skills to serve the diverse needs and interests of their clients and the public.Our practice is primarily focused on workers’ compensation. I work selectively with TPAs/Insurers/Employers that focus in on good practices ensuring thorough and effective case management for all involved. I also handle some claimant work, on a case by case basis. We take pride in the quality of work we provide our clients and the integrity with which our team delivers.
