Rachel Hulst

Rachel Hulst is an experienced employment attorney who centers her practice on conducting thorough and efficient neutral investigations in the workplace, on university campuses, and at K-12 schools. Rachel conducts investigations that involve a wide variety of claims, including, harassment, discrimination, bullying/abusive conduct, and sexual assault. Rachel is a member of the Association of Workplace Investigators. Rachel is trained in conducting Title IX investigations and in employing trauma-informed investigation practices. Prior to co-founding Hulst & Handler LLP in 2014, Rachel handled all types of employment litigation cases before California state and federal courts and administrative agencies for 16 years. After many years of deposing and interviewing a variety of individuals in litigation, Rachel has developed an aptitude for obtaining and evaluating information from witnesses. Having seen countless investigations challenged in litigation, Rachel has the perspective needed to arrive at well-reasoned findings supported by solid evidence that will withstand scrutiny. Rachel also counseled employers on employment law issues. She gained significant experience in employment matters at Epstein, Becker & Green, a firm with one of the largest labor and employment practices in the nation.
