About Piero Cozza
Mr. Cozza is a Shareholder at Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C., and a member of the firm’s Estate Planning and Administration, Insurance Law and Litigation, Real Estate, Toxic Tort, and Workers’ Compensation Groups. He concentrates his practice in the areas of estates and trusts, real estate transactions, and workers’ compensation. In addition, Mr. Cozza handles a wide variety of insurance defense matters, including products liability, asbestos defense, and general insurance litigation as well as small business consulting. Mr. Cozza was an Assistant Prosecutor in Jefferson County, Ohio. He also served as an Adjunct Professor of Estate and Trusts and Real Estate Law. Representative Matters include: A national mortgage company in Ohio and Kentucky; Large sporting goods retailer in workers’ compensation claims throughout Ohio; Individuals and fiduciaries in the management of personal affairs and the disposition of property in anticipation of, or the event of, such person's incapacity or death; Various trucking companies in workers’ compensation claims throughout Ohio: Various manufacturers, suppliers, and outside contractors in asbestos suits throughout Ohio and Pennsylvania Mr. Cozza graduated cum laude from Kent State University with a B.A. in 1994 and in 1996 with an M.A. in Criminal Justice. He received his J.D. from Capital University Law School in 2000, where he graduated with honors, Order of the Curia. At Capital, Mr. Cozza served as a teaching assistant in Constitutional Law and Criminal Law. Mr. Cozza is licensed to practice law in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky.
