Philip Gordon

Mr. Gordon's practice focuses on representing executive officers and employees at all levels. He is an experienced employment attorney, representing clients in every aspect of the employment relationship, with a particular concentration on executive compensation, hedge fund management, discrimination, whistleblowing, retaliation and harassment, as well as class and collective action litigation for overtime pay, minimum wages, regular wages, tips and commissions. In many employment matters, class action litigation is the best way to deliver results. Mr. Gordon represents thousands of employees in actions against Wal-Mart, Federal Express, CVS, Radio Shack, the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, Commonwealth Limousine, AdLife Healthcare, D&R Paving and others. A frequent author, lecturer and panelist on wage and hour issues, executive compensation and wrongful termination, Mr. Gordon has testified on numerous occasions before the Joint Committee on Labor and Workforce Development of the House and Senate, most recently in connection with legislation to outlaw non-compete agreements, change the statute of limitations for overtime and minimum wage claims and eliminate employer use of abusive pre-dispute waivers. (now OpSec Security), and Judicial Law Clerk to Charles Fried on the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts, Mr. Gordon brings substantial management-side, deal making and litigation experience.
