About Philip Cox
Phil Cox was a practicing California attorney for 18 years, concentrated in the areas of elder law, estate planning, special needs planning, probate and trust administration, probate and trust litigation, conservatorships, and guardianships. Phil earned his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Abraham Lincoln University School of Law in Los Angeles in 2002. He was the founding editor of the school’s student newsletter. He has served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Abraham Lincoln. Phil has served on the Executive Committee of the Estate Planning & Trust Council of Long Beach, the Board of the Christian Legal Society — Orange County, is a past president of the Long Beach Barristers; and past member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and the Southern California Chapter of NAELA, the California Bar Association's Trust & Estate Section, and the Greater Lakewood Chamber of Commerce.
