About Peter Ziblatt
Peter is a real estate and land use attorney with a twenty-five year real estate career that has encompassed law, real estate development and banking. He specializes in complex land use entitlement matters for both residential and commercial real estate; including natural resources/environmental issues, public agency negotiations, public hearing representation, CEQA, subdivision map act, State Density Bonus law and other streamlining measures for affordable housing. He brings a distinct business centric perspective to his legal practice stemming from his private sector land development, home building and real estate asset management experience. His particular expertise includes: -The acquisition, development and entitlement of complex real estate development projects. -The acquisition and disposition of real estate across a broad spectrum of asset classes. -Team leader and strategic counsel on complex real estate matters. Peter's diverse real estate career includes leading a team during the financial crisis at Wells Fargo Bank’s Commercial Owned Real Estate group that oversaw the foreclosure acquisition, asset management and disposition of a bank-owned commercial real estate portfolio in excess of $500 million and managing the entitlement of over 1000 residential units across the Bay Area for six years at Braddock and Logan, a Bay Area-based private real estate development group. Peter began his legal career in the San Francisco office of the national law firm of Sheppard, Mullin, Richter and Hampton where he represented real estate clients in land use development, natural resources/environmental matters and commercial real estate transactions.
