About Peter Liss
I graduated from the University of California, Berkeley-Boalt Hall School of Law. I was a public interest lawyer for 15 years with the United Farm Workers Union, Legal Aid Society of San Diego and San Diego County Public Defender. I was a Supervising Public Defender and tried many serious cases including homicides and a death penalty. In 1998, I started my own criminal defense law practice. I have tried well over 100 criminal jury trials. I am a faculty member of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA). I am also a board member and President of Affordable Housing Advocates. Specialties: Practice limited to criminal defense and related matters.
