Partner in the Litigation Practice Group and Labor & Employment Service Group. - Represents clients in a wide range of employment-related litigation, including discrimination claims, employment contract disputes, and claims involving restrictive covenants. Appeared in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate level throughout the country and represented clients before the EEOC, NLRB, and other government departments and agencies. - Works with C-suite executives in negotiating employment-related agreements. Representations include CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, executives in private equity porfolio companies, start-up executives, and executives in private equity firms, hedge funds, and other areas of financial services. Frequently represents teams of executives in M&A transactions and lateral moves. - Counsels companies on employment law compliance, including: drafting handbooks and employment policies; advising on harassment, discrimination, and accommodation situations; and conducting training for managers and employees. Advises companies on union relationships and obligations. Assists with employment-related issues in M&A transactions. Works with employment lawyers in countries throughout Europe, the Middle East, South America, and Asia. - Prepares executive compensation plans and agreements, including bonus plans, deferred compensation plans, phantom equity plans and agreements, employment agreements, and equity plans and award documents.
