About Paul Waddell
Extensive litigation practice, having tried more than 160 jury trials to date primarily in the areas of medical malpractice, employment law and catastrophic injury claims. Professional Recognition: Graduated with honors from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 1987; AV rated lawyer by Martindale-Hubbell; consistently recognized by Best Lawyers, a national listing of peer-reviewed lawyers, and Mid-South Super Lawyers in the areas of medical malpractice and employment law; named one of the Arkansas Top 50 Super Lawyers in 2012, 2013 and 2017. Paul was named an Attorney of the Year in 2018 in the area of Medical Malpractice by Best Lawyers. In 2018, Paul was also recognized as "Outstanding Defense Lawyer" by the Arkansas Association of Defense Counsel. While Paul has focused his 31 year practice on defending individuals, corporations and medical care providers, he has also represented families in catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases resulting in multi-million dollar settlements for his clients.
