My partners and I are focused on accelerated project development for essential water, energy, and environmental infrastructure, located largely in California and the U.S. West. Projects include interbasin water transfer, brackish water desalination, groundwater banking, riparian and aquatic restoration, natural treatment systems, geothermal power, direct lithium extraction, carbon capture and sequestration, resilient data centers with carbon-free energy, critical minerals, real estate development, as well as technology such as thermal storage in grid-interactive buildings and anti-microbial lighting. My background in science, engineering, and construction, as well as my law and policy career experience, provides the opportunity to participate in a broad range of project offerings. The common denominator is a scale that demands innovative and timely problem solving by multi-disciplinary, highly motivated, and skilled teams capable of securing permits and entitlements, political and public support, and attracting the large amount of capital needed for projects with a very visible profile. The mission is to advance projects that move the needle and produce meaningful environmental, social, and economic value. The bones of civilization, particularly one that falls in the superpower category, requires world-class infrastructure, of which there is not enough today. My goal is to contribute in my own small way to helping our country close those infrastructure gaps, thereby also contributing to quality of life, and social stability.
