Experienced lawyer with over 40 years practice - dually qualified as UK solicitor and California attorney- with a demonstrated history of working in the law enforcement environment. Skilled in elder abuse felony criminal prosecution for over 22 years, Public Speaking, Legal Writing, jury trials, assisting with drafting legislation and community advocacy. Strong consulting professional with a diverse legal education from Gray’s Inn London, College of Law at Guildford, Leeds University and from the California Bar. In 1999 California Lawyer magazine named Paul as one of their top 20 lawyers of the year. Currently Paul is a criminal justice at large board member of National Adult Protective Services Association and has testified before the US Senate committee on Aging. He has presented many keynotes for national and international organizations in USA,Canada, Singapore, & UK and is available for consultation with other lawyers who are engaged in elder abuse litigation. He has been designated as an expert witness regarding red flags of undue influence by which a perpetrator has exploited an older or dependent adult. In October 2018 Paul was presented with the Edwin Miller Jr. Lifetime achievement award by the San Diego Deputy District Attorneys Association. Current member of Aging Today Editorial Advisory Committee and of the National Center on Elder Abuse Advisory Board.
