I’m not here for band-aid solutions or performative “culture” campaigns. My work is grounded in real-world experience, disciplined judgment, and an understanding of human behavior at work. After more than 30 years in this field, I’ve seen that most workplace breakdowns aren’t caused by a lack of policy, but by flawed decision-making, unexamined bias, and systems that prioritize speed or self-protection over trust and fairness. Over my career, I’ve conducted 1,200+ workplace investigations, served as an expert witness, helped write California civil rights and investigation regulations, and authored The Drama-Free Workplace. Today, my work focuses on helping organizations strengthen how decisions are made so outcomes are not only compliant, but credible and humane. Born in El Salvador and raised in the US, I’m a former lawyer who has lived in Mexico City, and is now based in Rome, Italy. I'm a native Spanish speaker and speak conversational Italian. That lived global experience shapes how I think about culture, power dynamics, communication, and trust across different contexts.
