Criminal Defense Attorney since 1997 - Practice in state and federal courts. My office meticulously defends any individual arrested by law enforcement who faces criminal charges. Since 2006 my practice has specialized in marijuana defense through-out California and other jurisdictions that involve dispensary activities, individuals charged with sales, cultivation, transportation, manufacturing concentrates and BHO (including relevant explosions/fires), and possession of numerous cannabis products (flower, shake, honey oil, wax, shatter, edibles, among others). After the passage of Proposition 64, my office consults with persons seeking commercial cannabis licensing for cultivation, manufacturing, retail storefronts, delivery, distribution, processing and nursery activities. Consulting services include identifying permissive jurisdictions, analyzing relevant ordinances, analyze permit application components, among others. Clients are assisted through all phases of the application process, preparing required forms, seeking appropriate security and safety experts, client preparation for committee interviews and/or presentations at city council meetings, among other relevant services and tasks. My office has assisted clients with all commercial cannabis licensing requirements with both local and State regulations and procedures.My law office continues to represent clients charged with numerous other criminal allegations: murder with special circumstances; gang enhancements; firearm charges; assault; criminal threats; domestic violence; fraud; DUI, controlled substance sales, possession and transportation; firearm offenses; etc. Alternative court programs are resourced for potential application: court diversion; Drug Court; Veteran Court; Mental Health Court; among others.My office has prepared and litigated writs in both the California appellate courts, and California Supreme Court, including habeas petitions alleging newly discovered evidence and ineffective assistance of counsel.
