Nick Abramson

After four years as a federal prosecutor trying complex criminal cases, Nick joined Abramson, Brown & Dugan in 2016. There, Nick’s practice is focused on representing plaintiffs in matters involving medical malpractice and high-damage personal injuries, and he serves as co-chair of the firm’s federal practice group. During his time at the firm, he has handled a wide array of cases including failures to diagnose, erroneous administration of medication, wrongful births, and other areas of medical negligence. Nick graduated from Duke University School of Law, where he served on the Duke Law Review. After spending three years as a litigation associate at the national law firm Ropes & Gray, he clerked for the Honorable Jeffrey R. Howard of the First Circuit Court of Appeals in Boston, Massachusetts, before joining the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of New Hampshire as an Assistant United States Attorney, where he was the primary federal prosecutor for all child exploitation and human trafficking investigations and criminal prosecutions. Given his extensive courtroom and trial experience, Nick is able to aggressively advocate for his clients against large medical providers and insurance companies, and his passion for representing victims of child exploitation and human trafficking has uniquely translated to his representation of victims of medical malpractice. Nick is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the New Hampshire Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, and the New Hampshire Association for Justice.
