About Nicholas Salick
I finished law school in December 2004, took and passed the February 2005 California Bar Exam, and have practiced family law continuously since August 2005. Unlike some professionals, I can honestly say I love what I do because I enjoy dealing with all aspects of family law, from negotiation to litigation, and developing a case strategy which may reach into areas outside of family law with the aim of achieving my clients' goals. This is done through working closely with my extensive network of legal, financial and other professionals in and around Los Angeles County. My previous employment in Kern County and Orange County has resulted in the development of a vast professional network. Prior to becoming a lawyer, I worked in the film industry during college on the film Jackie Brown (as a production assistant) and the children's film Sandman (as a second assistant director). Specialties: Family law (divorce, custody, visitation, support, domestic violence, attorney's fees and costs, division of property, post-judgment modifications, enforcement of orders and execution proceedings, and valuation of property).
