About Ngozi Bolin

Born in war-torn Biafra, Nigeria, Ngozi spent her formative years in strife and extreme hunger. She rose above those to become a Barrister & Solicitor of the British Commonwealth of Nigeria. In 1989, Ngozi emigrated to the United States. She sat for the New York Bar examinations, passed and was admitted to the New York Bar in 1991, then subsequently took, passed and was admitted to the California Bar in 2013. Ngozi's initial legal work was in litigation and trial work. She tried and won her first jury case involving medical malpractice in 1992, then many others followed. In addition to her work as an attorney, Ngozi developed and brought to the market a line of skin and hair care products through the formation of Shinkafa, Inc. honing her experience in the executive and management sectors.Ngozi has worn and continues to wear many hats that include trial attorney, managing attorney, counselor, consultant, Barrister & Solicitor, Chief Operating Officer, founder and partner in law firms. Ngozi has several published cases in employment disputes including ERISA. In the executive section, Ngozi has held positions of President, General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer. In the corporate world, Ngozi found that her most effective skills come before litigation ensues in risk mitigation. Her interest in employment matters led Ngozi to study Human Resources Management at the Harvard Extension School.Ngozi was honored by the United States Department of Agriculture for sharing her expertise, knowledge, and personal reflections on “Honoring Trailblazing Women in Labor and Business” in celebration of the 2017 National Women’s History Month. She reports that it was a delight for her to have spoken on that occasion.Ngozi has authored many books including: Zulu: The Eternal Guardian, Chineke: Beyond the Quantum Holograph, From Injury to Compensation And Beyond, and The Weight of Water Lilies.Ngozi is married and lives with her husband, two children and German Shepherd Dog. She absolutely loves tennis, writing, swimming, the mountains, and nature in general.
