Natalie Chan

I am a passionate advocate focusing my practice on employment law and complex commercial disputes. At Sidley Austin LLP, I maintain a dynamic hybrid practice. I regularly counsel employers and litigate on a broad array of employment and other matters, including employment discrimination, wage and hour, breach of contract, and restrictive covenant issues. I conduct internal investigations into claims of misconduct and lead training sessions on sexual harassment and other employment compliance matters. I also assist employers in drafting and reviewing employment-related agreements and policies, and advise clients on a range of employment- and labor-related issues that arise in M&A and other corporate transactions. I am enthusiastic about advancing and improving inclusion, workplace culture, and well-being. Creativity, authenticity, empathy, and integrity are key tenants in my approach to leadership, building relationships, and problem-solving.
