Natalia Santanna

I am the founder and managing attorney at Santanna Law Offices. I am a native Brazilian. I made the United States my second home almost two decades ago. I am fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English. I have also studied Arabic and Maya Mam. I am a fierce advocate I am passionate about developing strategies and solutions to navigate and dismantle our complex and broken immigration legal system. In addition, I enjoy learning from my clients at each step of legal representation. ​Since 2012, I have represented individuals in diverse immigration matters, including asylum, cancelation of removal, bond hearings, adjustment of status, U visas, family petitions, termination of proceedings, and prosecutorial discretion. In 2014, I founded Santanna Law Offices, PC. I am proud of working with a stellar team to achieve the best possible results for my clients. I believe in the importance of pro bono work. I have volunteered at various immigration clinics, and detention centers representing families at the border and internationally to support migrants seeking protection in the United States. I have also shared my expertise through speaking engagements and media education about immigrant rights and forms of immigration relief. I mentor pro bono lawyers with the Lawyer's Committee for Civil Rights. Because of my extensive pro-bono work, the American Immigration Lawyer Association (AILA) named me a Pro-Bono Warrior in 2017.
