Mimi Ahn

Mimi Ahn, Esq., is an experienced litigator at Kahana & Feld, LLP, with an emphasis in employment law. Ms. Ahn has represented clients in employment law matters in State and Federal Court, as well as arbitration. Ms. Ahn also specializes in representing employers in the food and service industry and is experienced in the unique issues this sector faces.A first-generation Korean-American, Mimi Ahn graduated summa cum laude from California State University, Fullerton, where she received a B.A. in Communications with a minor in Business Administration. Ms. Ahn earned her Juris Doctor at the University of California, Irvine School of Law, with a focus on trial advocacy and civil litigation. While attending law school, Ms. Ahn served as an extern for the Honorable Theodore Albert in Federal District Court, and served as an intern at a top-three international law firm based in Seoul, South Korea.As a proponent of public interest work, while in law school, Ms. Ahn also helped organize and lead a family law clinic aimed to assist the low-income population. In 2013, Ms. Ahn received the State Bar Pro Bono Award from the California State Bar on behalf of the family law clinic, in addition to the Leadership Award at UCI Law.Ms. Ahn is a past president of the Orange County Korean American Bar Association and currently serves on the board of the Orange County Women Lawyers Association, the Orange County Korean American Bar Association Foundation, and Community Counsel. She regularly volunteers her time at pro bono clinics and assists with various pro bono projects. Ms. Ahn also serves on the DEI committee of her firm.
