Michel Rouhani

Michel J. Rouhani obtained his Doctor of Law degree (J.D.) in 1992. He was licensed to practice law in California in 1992. In addition to his California law degree, he holds several law degrees from the University of Paris II (Panthéon-Assas), and the Diploma of the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po Paris). He is an alumnus of the Hague Academy of International Law in the Netherlands, the academic wing of the International Court of Justice. He is licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of California and all Courts of the State of California, the Supreme Court of the United States of America, the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California. For the past 30+ years, he has been representing Businesses and Individuals, Plaintiffs and Defendants, and Debtors and Creditors in Both State and Federal Courts in: Trials and Arbitration, Civil Litigation, Business Litigation, Personal Injury Litigation, Insurance Litigation, Consumer Law and Litigation, Real Estate Law and Litigation, Commercial Landlord and Tenant Litigation, Employment Litigation, Bankruptcy Litigation, Bankruptcy Adversary Proceedings, ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) Litigation, Cable TV Piracy Litigation, DMV Hearings, Appeals, Contracts Drafting and Negotiation, Business Formation, Binding Arbitration, Judicial Arbitration, and Mediation. He has extensive Litigation, Trial, Arbitration, and Mediation experience in both State and Federal Courts. He was commended by the Santa Clara County Bar Association and the Pro Bono Project of Santa Clara County for his contributions to the delivery of Pro Bono legal services in Santa Clara County. He is accredited by the Consulate General of France in San Francisco as an attorney serving the legal needs of the French community in the San Francisco Bay Area. He was a Financial and Budget Advisor to the City of Charenton-le-Pont, France. He was a volunteer with the Ile-de-France Regional Government in France. He has held executive positions in California corporations.
