Michael Wilcoxon

I have thirty years experience in providing electrical design/build services on projects. As well as, electrical troubleshooting and upgrading control systems. After working with several electrical contractors during my apprenticeship, I started with Gwinnett County in 1989. I was Water Reclamations first State Licensed Electrician. During that time, I managed and installed several projects to maintain and upgrade obsolete electrical and electronic control systems. In 1992, I transferred to Water Production to maintain electrical systems and controls in the Water Treatment Plant and remote booster stations in the water distribution system. I designed and built the first pressure monitoring stations which monitors the distribution system which continues to be used as the standard today. In 1996, I accepted the electronic coordinator position back in Water Reclamation to manage the electrical and electronic team in maintaining the reclamation plants. I left the county in 2001 to open MRC Services Inc. MRC Services provides design/build electrical installations and electrical troubleshooting in several commercial and industrial businesses. I returned to Gwinnett County in 2006 and worked with Water Production Process Control. I maintained the SCADA computer networks and worked with engineering firms and contractors in plant upgrades and expansions. I retired from Gwinnett in 2022 and joined MR Systems as a design engineer until 2024 when retired again to continue to support existing MRC customers including Gwinnett County. I am always interested in new challenges and continue to keep up with changing technologies in this industry and the electrical industry.
