About Michael Salorio
Over the past 11 years, I've operated as a general/solo practitioner, the managing partner of a law office partnership, and my primary practice area was Bankruptcy Law-Chapter 7 and Chapter 13. I also practiced family law, immigration law, and estate planning. Beginning in Jan. 2020 , I closed my physical office location and then switched to a "virtual" law office business (this was prior to the start of the COVID-19 pandemic). I wound down my practice in late 2021, and then I worked as a staff attorney in 2022 for a non-profit immigration legal aid provider before taking a sabbatical from the practice of law. I'm now ready to get back at it, and I'm looking for a remote (or hybrid) staff attorney position either in the public or private sectors. But I'm not limiting myself to bankrupty because I want to explore legal fields outide of my usual practice areas in order to grow as an attorney. Work-life balance is a must.
