SEASONED LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT ATTORNEY For over 20 years, I have helped clients navigate and avoid challenging employment-related issues in the areas of labor relations and all major legal issues affecting employers, including wage and hour, harassment, and discrimination. My services range from developing policies, conducting training, offering advice, and, if warranted, full-scale litigation. TRADITIONAL LABOR SERVICES As a long-time labor attorney, I have helped employers in a broad variety of industries with all their labor relations issues. Clients call me in when faced with union organizing for the first time and needing advice on how to best navigate this process. I also advise employers that have had unions for a long time and need assistance and guidance with regard to collective bargaining, contract administration, grievances and arbitrations, or litigation before the National Labor Relations Board. TRADITIONAL EMPLOYMENT SERVICES For companies without labor unions, I provide legal advice and support to their managers and legal counsel to help create or maintain an issue-free work culture. I do so by helping to develop policy manuals, conducting interactive training, advising managers on day-to-day issues and challenges, and working with in-house counsel when disputes escalate beyond the “talking phase.” FOOD SUPPLY CHAIN EXPERTISE While I have worked in a wide range of industries, I have developed a deep expertise advising companies throughout the food supply chain, including growers, food processors, warehouse operators, and retail operators.
