The "Star Individual" designation is Chambers' highest distinction, reserved for a select group of attorneys at the pinnacle of the profession who receive exceptional recognition from clients and peers for their courtroom achievements, legal strategy, and reputation in the field.Mike is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL), widely considered to be the premier professional trial organization in North America. He is also a Fellow of the invitation-only International Academy of Trial Lawyers (IATL), which limits active membership to the leading 500 trial lawyers in the United States. He has been certified by the State Bar of California as a Specialist in Legal Malpractice Law, and previously served by appointment on ACTL’s Legal Ethics and Professionalism Committee with the mandate “to advance, improve and promote ethical standards and professionalism in the trial bar in all its aspects in both the United States and Canada.” Mike also serves on ACTL's State Committee for Southern California.
