Michael Levine

Michael S. Levine has been practicing law for nearly 30 years, following his 1985 admission to a number of state and federal bars, including the bars of New York and New Jersey; the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey; and the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. A 1979 graduate of Hobart College, where he was a Dean's List student and captain of the tennis team, Michael earned his J.D. from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in 1983. In 2013, Michael was inducted into his high school’s (Paul D. Schreiber High School, Port Washington, NY) Athletic Hall of Fame. Michael belongs to both the New York State Bar Association and the Suffolk County Bar Association, where he serves on the Grievance Committee and Judicial Screening Committee; the American Association of Justice; and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association (NYSTLA). Michael is a past President of NYSTLA (which has over 4000 members), and currently serves on its Executive Board. Michael lectures several times a year on his areas of expertise, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability accidents, construction accident litigation, railroad and subway accidents, and trial preparation and tactics, before the New York State Bar Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Institute, and the Suffolk County Bar Association. Michael and his wife Pam live with their two children in Suffolk County on Long Island. Michael is currently serving his fourth two-year term as the elected mayor of his village (Old Field, NY). He also serves on the Board of Directors of United Cerebral Palsy of Suffolk County and the Rev for Dev Foundation, and is a past President of the Three Village Tennis Club. Michael is also an avid rider of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and "Motorcycle Mike ESQ" has been recognized numerous times by the motorcycle community for his contributions to their charitable causes.
