About Michael Kalt
For nearly 30 years, I have assisted employers comply with legal, legislative, and agency developments at the state and federal level, thus allowing my clients to focus on their primary business. I have also successfully defended employers in complex litigation at the state and federal level, including multiple defense verdicts after trial and arbitration. I have a strong interest not only in knowing the law, but also positively impacting agency and legislative proposals throughout the rulemaking process. Though my work at the firm and at various human resources organizations, I have drafted, analyzed, commented upon and testified regarding numerous legislative proposals, and regularly provided a detailed legislative report surveying key lawmaking proposals.
