I help people who have been hurt or are having their property taken. As a partner at the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin, my primary focus is helping injury victims. I have practiced law since 1993 and have been with the firm since 2001. I am also a published author in the legal field and have been active in leadership positions within the statewide legal community, particularly the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, and also with the my local bar association. My goals are simply to protect victims by offering thorough, honest advice along with quality representation and to help other attorneys develop in their careers.As a plaintiffs' personal injury attorney, most of my time is focused helping wreck victims and injured workers. I also work with our Eminent Domain team and have significant experience in various other areas of law. With over 1,000 court appearances in my career, I have also been the lead attorney in more than 100 trials to verdict.
