Michael Hendee

Michael Hendee is an associate attorney in the Newark office of Kimmel, Carter, Roman, Peltz & O'Neill, P.A. His practice is focused primarily in personal injury, and workers' compensation. Mr. Hendee was born and raised in New Jersey and he attended Wake Forest University, earning his B.A. in 2002. After college, he studied law at the Delaware Law School of Widener University, earning his Juris Doctor in 2008. While in law school, Mike served as a Student Assistant District Attorney with the Delaware County (PA) District Attorney’s Office in 2007 and 2008. Mike was admitted to the Bar of the State of New Jersey in December, 2008 and the Bar of the State of Delaware in February, 2009. After law school, Mike served as a Deputy Attorney General in the Delaware Attorney General’s Office from 2008 until 2014. During his time as a Deputy Attorney General, he prosecuted and tried a wide variety of criminal and motor vehicle cases, gaining extensive jury trial experience and appearing in courts throughout New Castle County. From 2014 to 2019, Mike worked for a local civil defense firm where he represented civil defendants and insurance companies, learning how insurance companies evaluate and defend cases. He now uses that experience to fight for his injured clients.
