Service to others is my prime motivator and has been my life’s passion. For the past 35+ years, I’ve focused that passion on the development of more effective standards to improve the substance of evidence developed through legal discovery. Some have called me a thought leader, and if true, it gives me comfort to know that my ideas have taken root. I have had the privilege of working with some of the top legal minds and blue-ribbon law firms on the planet and contributing in small part to many headline cases. Along the way, I’ve also seen abuses in corporate practice that disregard the safety of products placed into the stream of commerce, motivated by ‘profits over the people’ who were supposed to have been the beneficiaries of such invention and enterprise. I have committed my remaining time to finding justice for these victims by working with Plaintiff law firms to enhance their discovery effectiveness to deliver justice and the compensation the injured deserve. As a business leader, I have driven creativity and thought leadership across the eDiscovery EDRM. My leadership has effectively reduced costs while improving the service delivery standards. Elevating the client experience is an integral component of my raison d'être. As a pioneer in eDiscovery, I have utilized my knowledge of legal process with technological insight, synthesizing the intersection between law and technology to implement effective solutions, provide budgetary predictability and create disruptive innovations that increase shareholder value. In my role at Hire Counsel, I assist Plaintiff law firms in providing the Human Staffing to meet their legal challenges in a cost effective and defensible manner and help my clients establish rational work flows to maximize discovery effectiveness to obtain the case winning evidence in Mass Tort, Class Action and Catastrophic Injury cases. I received my law degree from Loyola Law School, in 1995 and undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego, Summa Cum Laude, in 1990. Admitted to practice in California and Federal Courts. I enjoy speaking on cutting edge legal, technology, and staffing issues.
