Michael J. Ernst serves as the managing partner of Stokes Carmichael & Ernst LLP in Atlanta, Georgia. He leads the firm’s Labor and Employment Law and Business Litigation practice groups, bringing extensive litigation experience to his clients. Mr. Ernst represents business clients throughout the United States in a diverse range of legal matters, including business disputes, employment litigation, commercial litigation, collections, banking and financial services industry litigation, loan workouts, and general civil litigation. He is an active member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia, the Atlanta Bar Association, and the Lawyers Club of Atlanta, and has served on the Litigation Section Board of Directors for the Atlanta Bar Association. Beyond his legal practice, Mr. Ernst is involved with charitable and community organizations, providing pro bono legal services and volunteering in various leadership and hands-on capacities. He is an active member of Holy Innocents' Episcopal Church in Sandy Springs, where he has held numerous service and leadership positions.
