About Michael Barnhill
I have experience in all stages of civil litigation, including initial pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial, and appeals. I have represented corporate and individual clients in a broad range of civil disputes in all stages of litigation involving: contractual breaches, torts (including fraud and negligence), violations of securities laws, misappropriation of trade secrets, and discrimination. I also defend financial services companies in individual and class action litigation involving the TCPA, FDCPA, FCRA, Article 9 of the UCC, and related state consumer laws. I always seek to understand my client's objectives and work to develop the most effective litigation strategies to reach those objectives. I am licensed in both Utah and California.
