I'm Michael Bakst, a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in bankruptcy and insolvency. My career spans diverse roles including representing creditors, bankruptcy trustees, and receivers, as well as handling complex bankruptcy matters, commercial litigation, receiverships, and assignments for the benefit of creditors. Currently serving as a panel United States Bankruptcy Trustee for the Southern District of Florida, I bring a wealth of experience to every case. I've also had the privilege of serving as an Examiner appointed by the United States Trustee. Beyond my practice, I am committed to advancing the field through education. I am a frequent speaker at continuing education seminars for bankruptcy and commercial litigation practitioners, as well as trustees in bankruptcy on a regional level.
