About Meldie Moore

Meldie Moore has been practicing law in Orange County for over two decades. In private practice since 2010, Meldie specializes in children’s law including Family Formation and Education. Family Formation encompasses Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Technology law (“ART”). She and her husband grew their own family through adoption and assisted reproduction and she is passionate about helping others do the same. She is experienced in all forms of domestic adoption, including independent adoption, agency adoption, step parent adoption, foster adoption, LGBT adoption, family member adoption and adult adoption. Meldie is well informed on all the current options available in ART Law. This includes surrogacy agreements, egg donor and sperm donor agreements, and pre-birth orders. During her time in the DA’s office she completed over 100 criminal trials and hundreds of preliminary hearings. She was assigned to Juvenile Court for a year and a half early in her career and feels very strongly about her responsibility to act in the best interest of the child.
