Melanie Hines

Melanie Hines is a highly ranked lawyer who practices white collar criminal defense, special investigations, and administrative and civil fraud litigation. Prior experience includes government service and teaching trial skills and corporate ethics to law students. For more than 40 years, Melanie has spent considerable time in the courtroom, running a statewide organized crime prosecution office, speaking on criminal justice policy, and serving on law association committees dedicated to the improvement of the judicial system. She has been appointed to serve on Task Forces by Governors, The Supreme Court, Legislators, and the Attorney General of Florida. She has given guest lectures to judges, lawyers, and law enforcement officers throughout Florida, in several states, and in Canada, Russia, Kazakhstan, and the Czech Republic. Melanie is passionate about private-public partnerships for crime prevention and protecting the rights of those who get caught up in the criminal justice system - whether as suspects, witnesses, the accused, or victims of crime.
