About Matthew Tseng
As an Associate General Counsel at Scale AI, I provide comprehensive legal counsel to Scale’s Enterprise Business Unit related to AI commercial transactions, strategic growth, AI product developments, and intellectual property. Previously, I was a technology transactions associate attorney in the Licensing, Strategic Partnering and Commercial Transactions group at Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian, LLP. I also previously advised insurance carriers with respect to data breaches and cyber incidents including ransomware attacks, email phishing incidents, and network interruption. I also previously practiced in the area of family law litigation. Beyond my legal career, I was a SoulCycle instructor. I am also a former professional choreographer, dance educator, and professional dancer.
