Matthew Maggard

A native of Dade City, I am dedicated to serving the community in which I live, focusing my practice on city and government representation, as well as real estate, development, construction, and financing transactions. I am a member of the Public Policy and Government Affairs, Real Estate and Development, and Litigation and Disputes Service Lines, I currently serve as the City Attorney for the City of Zephyrhills and the City of Indian Rocks Beach, as well as a Hearing Officer and Special Magistrate for Pasco County. In addition to my municipal and government work, private clients turn to me for counsel on a variety of areas of Florida law. My proven track-record of litigation success has resulted in long-term relationships, where I provide clients with legal guidance in a variety of areas of law, including local government, business, real estate, land use and zoning, and estate planning. My philosophy towards my clients is to build a relationship built on trust, advocacy, and availability. My clients view me as someone they can always turn to for help for any problem. For the past decade, I have immersed myself in local organizations, wanting to give back and support my hometown community. I have served as President of the East Pasco Bar Association, President of the Dade City Rotary Club. I am currently the Past-Chair of the Board for the Greater East Pasco Chamber of Commerce and played a vital role as the last sitting Chairman of the Greater Dade City Chamber of Commerce as it entered into a merger with the Greater Zephyrhills Chamber of Commerce creating the new Greater East Pasco Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, I currently serve as member of the Board of Trustee for Saint Leo University. Through this involvement I am well-known to business leaders, lawyers, judges, and government officials in Pasco County.
