Matthew Ladd

After graduating Syracuse University Law School I started my career as a prosecutor for the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office. I prosecuted thousands of offenders from misdemeanors to homicide including violent offenses involving guns, child victim offenses, and career criminals. Upon fulfilling my contract with the State Attorney, I went on to serve Florida Speaker, Marco Rubio. I assisted in the implementation and passage of various laws including a condominium and homeowner association reform, PIP bodily injury insurance reform, safety and security legislation, and a variety of other topics. Since leaving the Legislature I have practiced in Miami handling criminal and civil injury-related litigation matters. Specialties: I focus my practice on criminal, civil negligence actions such as negligent security and exploitation of the elderly, and personal injury.
