About Matthew Cohen
After working for two different attorneys over the last 11 years, Matthew joined forces with Daniel Perlman, a previous employer, in January of 2022 to create Perlman & Cohen LLP so he can continue to defend clients to the full extent of the law. Previously, Matthew joined The Law Offices of Hart J. Levin full time in the spring of 2014 after spending the previous three years with The Law Offices of Daniel R. Perlman. Matthew, who lives with his family in the San Gabriel Valley, earned his Bachelor's Degree from Binghamton University in New York, and his law degree locally from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. He began his legal career in Intellectual Property Law, but changed his focus over time after gaining a valuable understanding of the criminal justice system and a desire to defend individual's rights under the law. Matthew uses this growing understanding to vigorously defend and protect every individual that he represents. Matthew tries to give back to the community by coaching youth sports on weekends.
