Matthew Clark

I am the Lead Attorney at The Clark Law Office, where I represent individuals and families throughout Michigan who have suffered serious injuries or wrongful death. My practice focuses on complex personal injury litigation involving automobile, truck, and motorcycle accidents, as well as medical malpractice, premises liability, and other catastrophic injury cases. Over the years I have secured multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements, including a $4.75 million wrongful death settlement against a national delivery company, a $2.3 million auto accident recovery in Eaton County, and a $1.6 million medical malpractice settlement for a client with cauda equina syndrome. These results reflect a consistent commitment to detailed case preparation, effective advocacy, and persistence in holding negligent parties accountable. I approach every case with a trial mindset. From the earliest stages of investigation, I focus on evidence development, expert collaboration, and clear communication with clients and co-counsel. My courtroom strategy combines legal precision with storytelling that connects with juries and judges. I take pride in managing every case personally to ensure that clients receive direct attention and that every argument presented is fully supported by the facts and the law. My legal education and training were rooted at Michigan State University’s Eli Broad College of Business and Michigan State University College of Law. I also participated in trial practice through the Geoffrey Fieger Trial Practice Institute. That foundation has guided my approach to leadership, ethics, and advocacy. Beyond litigation, I stay active in professional and community work as a member of The Catholic Lawyers Guild and as a coach for youth basketball and baseball. My goal as an attorney is not only to achieve results but also to maintain integrity and respect within the profession.
