About Matthew Besser
Matt Besser is a civil rights lawyer, mediator, and President of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. Besser graduated summa cum laude from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. After law school, he served as Law Clerk to Judge Richard L. Nygaard on the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit before joining the law firm of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease. Since 2009, he has practiced civil rights and employment law representing individuals. In 2022, Best Lawyers Magazine named Besser its Cleveland “Lawyer of the Year” for employment law-individuals.
