We advise new and existing businesses on business structures; form business entities; handle intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and licensing; provide advice and guidance on business operational matters, employment, mergers, and acquisitions, and assist in their implementation; draft and negotiate contracts; handle corporate housekeeping and shareholder relations; and provide counsel on and implementation of the essential elements for our clients' Internet presence (website copyright and trademark matters, eCommerce, privacy policies, terms of use, and compliance with applicable federal and state statutes and regulations). Our entertainment law practice focuses on several disciplines, including film, publishing (traditional and digital), music, literary, interactive, mobile and digital devices, merchandising, and art. I am the Chair of the Entertainment and Sports Interest Group of the California Lawyers Association Intellectual Property Section and was name a Super Lawyer in Entertainment and Sports for 2019. Our estate planning practice includes trust and will drafting, powers of attorney, health care directives, trust administration, and probate for estates of all sizes and complexities. The firm works closely with other professionals and specialists to provide a full range of services, bringing in tax consultants to handle tax planning and to address tax issues as needed for domestic and international transactions and ventures, as well as sophisticated estate planning for high net-worth clients.
