Mary Farrell

Mary E. Farrell, founder of the Farrell Law Group, is a litigator with substantial experience and expertise in representing employers of all sizes. Mary is a frequent speaker on employment law trends and emerging issues and has been recognized as a Northern California Super Lawyer every year since 2010. This recognition is a designation by Super Lawyers Magazine and is the result of peer nomination and evaluation. According to the Journal of Law and Politics, recipients of the Super Lawyer honor represent the top 5% of lawyers in each practice area. Mary has been selected by her peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America 2016-2025 in the field of Litigation/Labor & Employment. Over the past 30+ years, Mary and her team have successfully defended several wage & hour class action lawsuits as well as individual claims. She works closely with clients to develop credible litigation avoidance strategies in high-risk employment disputes as well as daily personnel challenges. Mary has experience handling individual harassment, discrimination and retaliation claims, whistleblower actions, unfair competition & trade secret litigation and business disputes. Mary graduated Order of the Coif with Great Distinction from the McGeorge School of Law in 1994. She was also a member of the Traynor Honor Society.
