I worked as a Marion County Civil Court Bailiff and a law clerk for the American Civil Liberties Union. At the Indiana State Public Defender Office, I worked as a law clerk then an attorney. Additionally, I was an assistant supervisor at the Marion County Public Defender Agency. I helped train and supervise attorneys. I practice mainly in the areas of criminal law, representing people accused of misdemeanors, felonies, traffic offenses, probation violations and drug crimes. I also practice and have an interest in the area of family law, civil litigation, personal injury, small claims and Civil Rights and discrimination. I have been featured in the December 2015 issue of Indianapolis Monthly, the Fall 2012 issue of the ACLU's Carrying the Torch, the August 3-16, 2011 issue of Indiana Lawyer and various other news outlets. I am a military combat veteran and assist veterans in receiving the benefits they earned. Also, I am a certified Kansas City Barbecue Society Judge and a former member of the United States Parachute Association.
