Marijo Adimey

I have the privilege of representing individuals who have had the unfortunate experience of being the victim of medical malpractice or who have suffered serious physical injury in an accident. I am immersed in the day to day management of the firm's medical malpractice cases, in addition to handling depositions and trials.As a former Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx, I bring a unique and dynamic perspective to vindicating victim’s rights. My clients have either been seriously injured or lost a loved one; in either setting, they have suffered immeasurably and I spend every day trying to ease that suffering and find justice for them and their families. I was recipient of the 'Client Distinction Award' for two consecutive years and since 2014, have been consecutively named one of New York’s “Super Lawyers”. I have been selected one of New York’s “Best Lawyers in America” since 2015, and in 2017 was selected as one of New York’s ‘Top Women Litigators’ by “Super Lawyers”. I hold an “AV” rating (highest rating) from the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, which is one of the oldest and best known catalogues of lawyers in the United States. I am also active in the legal profession. I recently completed a two-year term on the Judiciary Committee of the Association of The Bar of The City of New York, a committee which evaluates judges up for appointment, reappointment, election or reelection on the city, state and federal level and makes recommendations for approval. The Administrative Judge for Civil Matters-First Judicial Department recently appointed me as an attorney member of the Medical Malpractice Advisory Committee for the Supreme Court, Civil Branch, New York County. In 2017, I became a Board of Director of NYSTLA, where efforts are made to improve laws and protect the rights of injured parties.
