Margaret Watson

I am an experienced trial counsel who defends companies and individual managers in employment law litigations and also advises on best practices in terms of reducing litigation risk. I practice in federal and state courts, at the trial and appellate levels, as well as in arbitration (FINRA), agency proceedings and alternative dispute resolution forums. Representative matters include claims of discrimination (including sexual harassment) and retaliation, allegations of violations of whistleblower laws, as well as common law tort and contract claims, including defamation. I regularly advise on the identification and implementation of best-in-class workplace policies and trainings, including diversity & inclusion initiatives, and perform investigations. My goal is to assist employers in minimizing litigation spend while maximizing employee engagement and productivity.
