About Manny Medrano
After law school I worked for 13 years as a trial attorney in Los Angeles, including 10 years as a federal prosecutor, and 3 years in private practice with Sonnenschein Nath and Rosenthal, and Cox Castle and Nicholson. I then changed careers and became a TV broadcast journalist for 16 years, working for KNBC News, ABC network news, and KTLA News as a reporter/anchor/correspondent. In January 2010 I launched a boutique litigation law firm in Los Angeles, Medrano and Carlton, specializing in white collar criminal defense, complex business litigation, and crisis management. In April 2019 I joined Zuber Lawler as head of the firm's white collar practice area. I am an experienced trial attorney, posting a 60-0 winning jury trial record in state and federal court. I am also a professional speaker, and have given keynotes to corporations, government agencies, non-profits and universities on various topics, including media and the law, leadership, team building, and motivating individual performance.
