After practicing business and HR law for over 35 years, I now apply that knowledge as an executive coach, strategic planning facilitator and leadership development trainer. I have been fortunate to serve on two client executive teams, one leading an HR team of 50 professionals serving 5,000+ employees across the United States. I also served on the Board of Directors for a U.S. subsidiary of a German business.I provide executive coaching to CEOs and Presidents, plant managers, department managers and non-profit leaders. I lead executive teams through strategy planning sessions to help create or refine their mission, vision, value proposition, market differentiation and operating model. I also provide training for leaders, from the front line to the C-Suite, with a focus on employee engagement, leadership versus management, conflict resolution, problem solving and emotional intelligence. I have helped leadership teams in diverse industries develop social contracts that define how they will behave with each other. This has resulted in closer cooperation and more timely decision-making. And I provide training on how to conduct effective one-on-one meetings between leaders and their individual team members.I work regularly with family-owned businesses on the transition of leadership from one generation to the next. I understand the unique convergence of family + business. I have worked with leaders in the automotive, manufacturing, foundry, tool-and-die, education, non-profit and other industries.
